Our commitment to accessibility
Accessibility
This page describes the measures taken to make this website conform to AgID's Guidelines on the Accessibility of IT tools and to the EN 301549 standard, implementing Italian Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004 ("Legge Stanca") and EU Directive 2016/2102.
Official accessibility statement
The accessibility statement required by Italian law must be filled in and published exclusively through the official AgID platform (form.agid.gov.it) by the Digital Transition Officer (RTD) of the University of Naples Federico II, using the institutional credentials registered with the Index of Public Administrations.
To be completed by the RTD: once the official statement is published on form.agid.gov.it, the link provided by AgID should be added here and in the site footer, alongside or in place of this page.
Measures implemented on this site
Pending and in support of the official statement, this site has implemented the following measures, checked against WCAG 2.1 level AA criteria:
- Semantic structure with HTML5 landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a correct heading hierarchy (h1–h3, no skipped levels)
- "Skip to content" link, with keyboard focus correctly moving to the main content
- Visible focus indicator on every interactive element, with a double outline that stays visible on both light and dark backgrounds
- Colour contrast checked and corrected (minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and graphical components, per WCAG 1.4.3 and 1.4.11)
- Alternative text for informative images; purely decorative images excluded from assistive reading (
aria-hidden) - Programme table with explicit row and column headers (
<th scope>) and a descriptive caption - Interactive components (filters, search, menu, language switch) with accessible states and names via ARIA attributes (
aria-pressed,aria-expanded,aria-current,aria-label) - Respect for the system "reduce motion" preference (
prefers-reduced-motion) - Adequately sized touch and keyboard targets
- Language marked up for portions of English text within Italian pages (and vice versa)
Known limitations
The two downloadable PDF programmes are not currently tagged for accessible/assistive reading (PDF/UA); the full content is also available in accessible HTML form directly in the Programme section of the site.
Feedback
To be completed by the institution: add here the email or certified email (PEC) address for reporting accessibility issues found on this site, and the responsible contact/office.
This informational page does not replace the accessibility statement required under Italian Law 4/2004, which must be published via form.agid.gov.it.
